POSTED ON August 6, 2025 @ 10:15 am

About

Colac Golf Club is a historic and picturesque course located in regional Victoria. Dorset Golf Club has been offering competition and social Golf at the Dorset Community Golf Course, Croydon, since its foundation in 1984.

The clubs offer a full range of memberships and each has approximately 300 playing members.

Both clubs decided to implement MiClub’s OneGolf product to address several key needs.

These included:

    • implementing efficient handicapping processes
    • managing members effectively
    • integrating with the MiScore App for ease of scoring
    • comprehensive timesheet management
    • and streamlining competition management.

Implementation Experience

The process of implementing OneGolf at Colac Golf Club was remarkably smooth, earning a perfect score for ease of installation. Stephen Brudenell, a dedicated MiClub employee, facilitated the transition, ensuring everything was set up efficiently.

Benefits and Improvements

Since the implementation of OneGolf, both facilities have observed significant benefits. These include a streamlined booking process for staff, members, and visitors, enhanced event coordination for daily competitions and larger club events, and improved management of the members’ database.

User Experience

Colac Golf Club suggested that the overall user experience for both members and visitors has been outstanding. The club’s members have particularly enjoyed the new system, although some members faced initial challenges with the MiScore App these issues were minimal and quickly resolved.

Feedback from Members and Visitors

Colac Golf Club reported that the feedback from their members has been overwhelmingly positive. Members appreciate the ease and efficiency that OneGolf brings to their golfing experience.

The implementation of OneGolf at Dorset Golf Club equally has been a success, bringing significant improvements to club operations and member satisfaction. The club noted that “the general consensus from members has been positive.”

Desired Future Features

Members at Colac Golf Club suggested additional features, including “the ability to track drives on the MiScore App in Ambrose competitions.” This has been passed on to our development team as a future enhancement on the MiScore App.

Conclusion

The implementation of OneGolf at both Colac and Dorset has been a success, bringing significant improvements to club operations and member satisfaction. Both Golf Clubs look forward to seeing how OneGolf evolves to include new features that will further enhance the golfing experience.
