The NSW Golf Industry Awards will return in November 2023 after a lengthy break due to COVID-19.

The sport’s peak state bodies, Golf NSW, the PGA of Australia, Golf Management Australia – NSW(GMA-NSW), the NSW Golf Course Superintendents Association (NSWGCSA), and Jack Newton Junior Golf (JNJG), will come together in early November to recognise the contributions made by individuals and groups involved in the sport from across New South Wales.

This year’s awards will be held at The Crown Barangaroo on Monday, November 6, 2023. The night will celebrate our state’s most dedicated volunteers, outstanding staff, and industry-leading clubs.
The evening will also see the game’s elite recognised with awards for the leading junior, amateur, and professional players, plus the dedicated service of club managers, staff, greenkeepers, and golf professionals.

Golf NSW CEO Stuart Fraser said the return of the awards ceremony was a thrill, with unprecedented interest in the game since the pandemic.

“Previous awards have proved to many, not only in the golf industry but across the sport in general, what an outstanding game we have, one worthy of celebrating through the individuals and facilities honoured on the night.”

“As an industry, we have experienced unprecedented interest in the sport, with people taking up golf in numbers not seen in over thirty years.’

“We are working closer together than ever before, and this is just one example of how we can further promote our great game,” Mr Fraser added.

Mr David Barker, Senior State Manager with the PGA of Australia, echoed Mr Fraser’s comments.

“Our industry relies on the dedication and enthusiasm of many individuals, and it is great to be able to recognise these achievements. Whether they are volunteers, superintendents, managers or professionals, it is a fantastic initiative to be able to celebrate together.”

Tickets to the evening will be available to the golfing community and will be available through Eventbrite via the link below:
