Victorian Golf industry awards night announced for 2019

The 2019 Victorian Golf Industry Awards Dinner is shaping up to be a great celebration of Victorian golf over the past 12-months. The Dinner will be staged at an iconic venue, The Arts Centre Melbourne, on Friday August 9th.

A joint initiative between the PGA, Golf Australia – Victoria and Golf Management Victoria, the evening is a celebration of the people and organisations that have made significant achievements and contributions to the sport in 2018, as well as being a general celebration of Victorian golf.

An expected attendance of over 250 people will include industry notables Gavin Kirkman – CEO of the PGA of Australia, Therese Magdulski – Golf Operations & Senior State Manager – Golf Australia, Victoria  and Peter Busch – President of Golf Management Victoria, as well as Hall of Fame Members, Club Managers, Committees, Board Members, PGA Professionals and industry representatives.

The industry will induct new members into the esteemed Victorian Golf Hall of Fame which recognises their significant achievements and lifelong contribution to the game. They will join the likes of Ivo Whitton, Peter Thomson AO CBE, Alex Russell & Claude Crockford.

A total of 14 Awards will be presented on the night and we are now accepting nominations via the links below for the Awards listed here. Please read the criteria for each award before submitting your nomination.

The night will include a 3-course dinner plus drinks, entertainment and some special guests.
