Revised scheme for Links Hope Island luxury resort announced
Property developer GH Properties has revised its plan for the Links Hope Island luxury master-planned development in response to community feedback. The new plan scales back the proposed number of apartments and incorporates a range of exciting improvements to the Clubhouse that will position it as the premier location for wellness living on the Gold Coast’s north shore.
The revised proposal now being considered by the Queensland Government has a range of luxury apartments, villas, and substantial improvements to the iconic Clubhouse of Links Hope Island.
The Clubhouse upgrades
The changes proposed for the Clubhouse will upgrade and add new, exciting facilities that will benefit residents, members, and visitors alike. The Golfer’s Lounge will be relocated to take advantage of the expansive views over the golf course and lakes and upgraded into a modern, elegant space for socialising and holding golf presentations. An emphasis on high-quality food, beverages, and wine is sure to make this a key social hub for the community.
Furthermore, GH Properties wishes to convert a significant part of the Clubhouse into a boutique fitness and wellness centre, featuring high-quality fitness equipment, a group exercise room, and specialty recovery facilities. An outdoor seating area will be added, providing a new space for group gatherings. including golfers and members. Medical consultation rooms with specialty consultants on hand, such as physiotherapy or osteopathy, are proposed. A 25-meter heated swimming pool also forms part of the master plan for those who wish to join aquatic exercise programs, do some laps, or just get a dose of vitamin D.
GH Properties intends to proceed with the construction of the Clubhouse improvements as soon as the Queensland Government gives the green light to the planning scheme changes needed to allow the overall master plan to proceed.
Move to Saffron at Links
The first stage of the master plan doesn’t require planning scheme changes and construction has just begun. Saffron at Links is a collection of 26 luxury villas across the waterway from the Links Hope Island golf course.
