Located 20 minutes from Geelong, Clifton Springs Golf Club stands out on the Bellarine Peninsula for its picturesque 180-degree views across the Bay, lush couch fairways, and slick, sloping greens that challenge the very best. A recently renovated Pro Shop includes an indoor golf simulator.

The Club has 470 golfing members, 2500 social members and over 45,000 rounds played each year.

The Club is now searching for a Golf Operations Manager to drive this part of the business forward.

The role

The Golf Operations Manager oversees and directs the golf operation, including membership, events, retail, instruction, coaching, member services, and game development initiatives. This role requires strategic thinking, involving continuous development and evaluation of all aspects of the golf operation.

The Golf Operations Manager is a full-time salary position who will also be an integral part of the overall management team.

Remuneration range of $70-80K + Super (Dependent on experience.)

Expectation of the role

Working closely with the General Manager, the Golf Operations Manager will lead and support the Golf Operations team. You will have a passion for upholding and delivering exceptional member service, attentive organisational skills, and operational understanding. You will have the ability to build relationships with staff, members, and visitors in a professional manner.

About you

Have 3+ years of relevant experience and a proven track record in a similar role.
Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels – written, phone and face-to-face.
Communication: the ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication styles depending upon the audience.
Attention to detail: excellent attention to detail and written skills when communicating with others, both internally and externally.
Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
Time management/organisation: accomplish objectives effectively within the time frame given and carry out administrative duties within the portfolio in an efficient and timely manner.
A proven record in financial and people management.
