JOB: Food & Beverage Supervisor – Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club

About

Churchill-Waverley Golf and Bowls Club provides 36 holes of golf on two sites at Endeavour Hills and Rowville with seven-day member and public access.  An indoor Trackman simulator has recently been installed at Endeavour Hills.

An excellent opportunity currently exists for a Food and Beverage Supervisor to join our team.  Working with the Head Chef and the kitchen team, you will play a key leadership role with day-to-day bar and food operations, delivering exceptional service across member and private events, including weddings, birthdays, presentations, conferences and corporate golf & bowls.

This is a hands-on role, perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in creating memorable guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily bar and food service
  • Deliver private and member events following handover from the Events Coordinator
  • Supervise, mentor, and support front-of-house service staff
  • Staff rostering, stock control, and cash handling

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Prior hospitality experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • RSA and food safety certifications
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • A positive and enthusiastic attitude
  • Availability to work weekends, public holidays, and evenings as required
