Frampton Named Head Golf Professional at Kauri Cliffs

POSTED ON March 5, 2026 @ 12:15 pm

Kauri Cliffs, consistently ranked among the world’s top 100 golf courses, has announced the appointment of Jack Frampton as its new Head Golf Professional. A passionate Class “A” Professional with the PGA of Canada, Frampton’s arrival next month marks a significant homecoming for a leader whose career has come full circle.

Frampton brings a unique blend of international expertise, having built an extensive background within the events and hospitality industries. His return to the Northland resort is particularly sentimental, as it is the site where his professional journey in the golf industry first took root.

“This feels like a full-circle moment for me, as it’s where my golf journey truly began,” said Jack Frampton. “After years of growth and development in the industry, I’m excited to return and lead the golf operation, working alongside an amazing team to take the golf experience to even greater heights.”

The appointment comes at a high-profile time for the property, which transitioned to Rosewood management in late 2023 while remaining under the ownership of the Robertson family. The Head Professional role is central to maintaining the “Sense of Place” that the resort is known for, balancing world-class course management with elite-level guest services.

Jay Robertson, Chief Executive of Robertson Lodges, welcomed the appointment, noting Frampton’s alignment with the brand’s core values of genuine hospitality and professional excellence.

“A big thank you to Jay and the entire leadership team for the trust and opportunity,” Frampton added. “My goal is to deliver outstanding and professional service to create a memorable experience for every client. I’m looking forward to what lies ahead!”

When away from the fairways, Frampton is known for his love of sport, travel, and—unsurprisingly—spending his own spare time on the golf course. He is expected to officially begin his tenure next month, overseeing all golf operations and member relations at the iconic Matauri Bay facility.
