Redcliffe Golf Club is entering an exciting chapter of growth and development as a premier golfing destination. With a strong membership base and a commitment to exceptional member and guest experiences, the Director of Golf will play a pivotal leadership role in shaping the strategic direction, operations, and continued success of the golf operations.

This senior leadership position is responsible for driving participation, revenue growth, operational excellence, and team performance across all golf-related activities. Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Director of Golf will oversee golf operations, coaching programs, events, retail, and facility utilisation while fostering a high-performance, member-focused culture.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and commercially minded golf industry professional with proven leadership experience, a strong understanding of golf business operations, and the ability to inspire and develop a high-performing team.

Position Summary

The Director of Golf is responsible for leading the golf department’s strategic vision and operational excellence. This role is suited to an experienced golf operations leader with a proven ability to grow participation, enhance member experiences, and drive financial sustainability.

The golf operations team comprises PGA professionals and support staff, and the Director of Golf will be instrumental in creating a collaborative, customer-focused environment that delivers outstanding service and results.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • Strategic thinking and experience in growing golf operations and participation
  • Proven leadership in managing high-performing teams
  • Strong commercial and operational management skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
  • Ability to analyse data and make informed business decisions
  • Passion for delivering outstanding member and guest experiences
  • Golf industry experience (PGA qualification beneficial but not essential)
