JOB: Financial Controller – Green Acres Golf Club ($120-130K)

Green Acres Golf Club requires a suitably qualified and experienced Financial Controller to join our team.

Located just moments from Melbourne’s CBD in Kew, Green Acres Golf Club is known as one of the premier member’s clubs in the region. The Club has a strong membership base that makes use of its first-class 18-hole golf course, clubhouse, Golf Centre, function spaces, and member amenities.

This position requires an experienced person who will act as the Financial Controller and oversee all aspects of the Club’s financial management, corporate governance, asset management, payroll, information and support service to members and membership operational activities.

The successful applicant will possess appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience and be able to demonstrate:

  • solid financial insight including the ability to interpret, prepare and report on financial performance and position;
  • experience in dealing with auditors in the process of finalising the clubs annual report;
  • excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • proven business acumen with strong financial skills;
  • knowledge of the compliance and regulatory framework in which a golf club operates;
  • exceptional organisation and computer skills;
  • a commitment to customer service and a strong focus on continuous improvement.

Experience utilising NorthStar Star, MiClub, Employment Hero operating systems and programs will be seen as an advantage.

An attractive remuneration package will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
