Seeking: Senior Accountant

Links Hope Island is an iconic golf club located at Hope Island Resort, on the northern end of the Gold Coast and only 45 minutes from Brisbane. Since opening in 1993 Links Hope Island has consistently rated as one of Australia’s best courses and a successful function venue in its own right.

The club has a strong membership base and is a must play course for interstate and international visitors.

A position has become available at Links Hope Island for a Senior Accountant. Reporting directly to the General Manager you will be technically experienced with the ability to perform the following:

  • Monthly Financial reporting
  • Bank and Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Supervision of AR, AP and Payroll
  • BAS Returns

Knowledge of Micropower Database, Accounting and Point of Sales package would be advantageous but not essential, as would prior experience in Golf and or hotel industry.

You will have excellent communication skills which will enable you to build strong relationships with all key department heads and your success is measured by the accurate and timely operation of the financial management of the club.

As a degree qualified candidate you have good technical accounting knowledge coyupled with strong analysis skills, gained through your commercial experience.
