THE PINES COURSE – PRAIRIE CLUB – NEBRASKA

Graham Marsh Golf Design’s latest signature golf course, deep in the heartland of America is destined to rival some of the World’s more famous golfing destinations.

Constructed on the rim of the Snake River Canon, near Valentine, Nebraska, the Pines Golf Course meanders through the two contrastingly different environments of the pine forests and the adjoining prairie grassed sand dunes. The serene natural beauty of the undisturbed site will ensure the golf course will become a truly unique golfing experience.

Remarkable as it sounds, the Graham Marsh Golf designed course was constructed in 16 weeks within a $4 million budget. The Prairie Club is set to open early in 2010.

“I have had the opportunity to blend two unique forms of golf into an experience that excites and challenges players through a collection of holes that move seamlessly through the many dramatic and varied landforms of the property.

It is my dream that the course will be remembered as one having 18 distinct holes, each with its own character that seduces and lures players into returning for the sheer joy of the challenge and the experience. I found it incredibly good fortune that I should have the opportunity to design a course that encompasses two of my favourite styles of golf.”
