CRAIG PARRY JOINS KOOINDAH WATERS AS AMBASSADOR

POSTED ON November 30, 2009 @ 10:00 am

Investa Property Group’s Kooindah Waters Residential Golf and Spa Resort has announced that Australian golf legend Craig Parry has joined the Club as an ambassador.

As ambassador, Parry will host several events at Kooindah Waters throughout the year, including a charity golf day ensuring he is a regular visitor to the Resort and its fairways.

The 2007 Australian Open winner will also bear the Kooindah Waters logo on his golf shirt when he is playing the Australasian PGA Tour.

Parry said that Kooindah Waters is one of his favourite Australian golf courses.

“I worked alongside Ross Watson to help design this course and believe it now provides one of the country’s best golfing experiences,” Parry said.

“It’s a challenging golf course and also an extremely enjoyable one for golfers of all levels of ability.

“I’m looking forward to hosting events at Kooindah Waters in the coming months, getting to know the local players and Club members and helping to raise the profile of the golf resort and spa.”

Kooindah Waters’ director of golf Mark Ingrey said it was a huge coup to have one of Australia’s best ever golfers as an ambassador for the Club.

“Craig is a legend of the Australian golf industry winning many tournaments all over the world,” Mr Ingrey said.

“We are excited that he has agreed to act as ambassador for Kooindah Waters.

“His involvement with the Club will be a huge boost to members and visitors to Kooindah Waters who can look forward to bumping into Craig somewhere on the fairways,” he said.

Kooindah Waters Golf Club offers three membership packages, starting from $23 per week.
