- $110K+ OTE inc. bonus per cart sold
This organisation is a progressive company in the clean energy space. They are located mid-way between Brisbane and the Gold Coast in Queensland. The company offers an Australian designed and assembled range of Solar Powered Electric Golf Carts and Low Speed Electric Vehicles (2,4,6 and 8 seaters plus utility vehicles) into the Australian and international markets.
An opportunity now exists for an experienced Sales Representative, ideally with experience from the golf industry, to drive ongoing sales to Golf Clubs, Golf Retailers, wholesalers and individuals.
Reporting to the General Manager of the organisation’s Low-Speed Electric Vehicle (LSEV) division, this is a unique opportunity for the right person to build an exciting business that has the potential to grow nationally and internationally (immediate focus SE Qld and Greater Sydney). A competitive base salary plus car allowance plus unlimited commissions will be offered to the preferred candidate.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Defining and scoping key target markets for each product
- Creating annual budgets and forecasts
- Presenting product lines to Golf Club’s, Resorts, Retailers, Wholesalers, Aged care facilities, Govt departments etc.
- Maintaining an awareness of market behaviour and competitive trends in designated market to anticipate changing customer needs; proactively manage customer base.
- Facilitating and driving product development
- Travelling interstate and overseas as required
- Meeting and ideally exceeding budget expectations
- Continually work with GM-LSEV to develop new product ranges
- Create a positive image for the company in a range of markets
- Work harmoniously with the broader team
What you will bring to the role:
- A knowledge of the golf industry and how stakeholders including golf clubs “work”
- High level of presentation and ability to engage effectively at any level of management.
- Track record of sales success.
- Work to a well-established sales plan and report as per company requirements.
- Must have a friendly, well “rounded” manner with a strong drive to succeed and advance the goals of the company.
- High level of energy and desire to succeed.
- Ability to articulate technical information.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skills
