Golf Australia partners with Mamamia’s Here if you Need

POSTED ON November 10, 2022 @ 7:38 am

Golf Australia is delighted to announce a new partnership with Mamamia which sees Golf Australia come on board as the series launch partner of the latest addition to Mamamia’s podcast network ‘Here If You Need’, a new show that covers all things women’s sport and lands today.

Here If You Need, hosted by Cate Campbell and Hayley Willis, will give listeners a breakdown of the week that was in women’s sports, all-access interviews with some of the biggest names in women’s sports (think: Minjee Lee, Lauren Jackson and Sam Kerr), and a cheat sheet to make sure they’re always prepped for pub trivia.

Tiffany Cherry, Head of Women and Girls Engagement at Golf Australia highlighted the importance of showcasing women and girls at centre stage.

“Women and girls contribute so much to sport both in Australia and globally, and we’re long overdue championing them. Our partnership with Here if you Need is one way we are ensuring the stories of women and girls are shared to tell a more complete story of sport in Australia.

Not traditionally known as a women’s sport, the tide is turning for golf in Australia, with more than 80% of our adult clinic participants being women. By partnering with a truly women-focussed organisation like Mamamia, we hope to connect with even more women who might want to get into the game, and encourage them to go play!”

The exciting new show is coming to your favourite pod app this Thursday, November 10, with new episodes to follow every week. Loaded with insider guides and candid, informed chats about all women’s sports, Here If You Need is where women in sports come first. (Finally.)
