Bob Tuohy receives Life membership honour

It is with great pleasure that we announce the election of Bob Tuohy to Life membership of Glenelg Golf Club.  Bob was elected unanimously by members to the position at the 86th Annual General Meeting of the Club on Wednesday, 26th March 2014.

Bob had an outstanding playing record in his formative years and has contributed greatly over many years to the Club with his considered advice and proven valuable initiatives.  Our magnificent golf course, which everyone is so enjoying now, is a product of Bob’s foresight and knowledge when he partnered with golf course architect, Neil Crafter, to commence the redevelopment of the course in 1998.

The Club was extremely proud of Bob’s induction into the SA Golf Industry Hall of Fame in 2011; an honour that was richly deserved given his involvement within the golfing industry and promotion of the noble game of golf.
