Bonville get top of the line Toro Equipment
Bonville Golf Resort, situated halfway between Sydney and Brisbane on the picturesque Coffs Coast, is widely acknowledged as the most beautiful course in Australia. The Par 72 course rises and dips through the naturally serene landscape with each fairway isolated and private from the next. The stunning course has taken out the top spot in Golf Australia’s ‘Australia’s 50 favourite Golf Courses’ for the past three years running now.
Behind the stunning course is a team of highly experienced ground staff who work tirelessly to maintain the pristine course. A recent acquisition of a range of specialised Toro machinery by the club is set to make this challenging task a little easier. The equipment was handpicked by Course Superintendent Aaron Banks to cater to the unique needs of the Bonville Golf Resort course. The acquisition includes over ten different types of machinery including 1260 rollers, Mdx workmans, 3250 greens mowers, and 5010 hybrid fairway mowers.
Banks said “These new acquisitions will continue to help the ground staff to produce the best possible surfaces and improve the already fantastic aesthetics throughout the golf course and its surroundings”.
As a leading worldwide provider of innovative solutions for the outdoor environment, Toro made a great fit as supplier for the new range of grounds equipment at Bonville Golf Resort. Banks said the new Toro equipment will “reduce labour and fuel costs especially with the 5010 hybrid mowers that will have a saving of up 20% on fuel costs.” The Toro Reelmaster® 5010-H is the industry’s first mower with a true hybrid drive system.
