Golf Managers Association NZ Announces Name Change to Club Management Association of New Zealand

The Golf Managers Association is excited to announce a significant change in its identity. Effective immediately, the Association will be known as the Club Management Association of New Zealand (CMA NZ).

This rebranding reflects our commitment to inclusivity and our broader focus on all aspects of club management.The decision to change our name was driven by our desire to better represent the diverse range of services and support we provide to club managers across New Zealand. Our new name, Club Management Association of New Zealand, encapsulates our mission to support and enhance the professional development of all club managers, not just those in the golf sector and mirrors the name and activities of our majority partner,  the Club Management Association of America.

“We are thrilled to unveil our new name and brand identity,” said Matt Owen, President of CMA NZ.

“This change signifies our dedication to serving the entire club management community in New Zealand. We believe that this new identity will help us better connect with our members and now the broader Association and club industry.”

The rebranding will not affect the association’s core values or the high level of service and support that members have come to expect. CMA NZ will continue to offer a wide range of educational opportunities, networking events, and resources to help club managers excel in their roles.”

Members and stakeholders will learn more about the rebranding and the exciting initiatives we have planned for the future over the coming months.

About Club Management Association of New Zealand (CMANZ): The Club Management Association of New Zealand (CMANZ) is dedicated to supporting and advancing the professional development of club managers across

New Zealand. Through education, networking, and advocacy, CMANZ aims to enhance the management and operation of clubs, ensuring they remain vibrant and sustainable for future generations.
